Do celebrities make for bad role models ?

Resultado de imagen para Do celebrities make for bad role models ?Resultado de imagen para Do celebrities make for bad role models ?

I believe that celebrities are a bad example for teenagers now. . Celebrities are affected by attention and end up doing inappropriate things like Brittany Spears with her family problems and shaving her head. They end up using drugs and they look bad before the paparazzi with all their schemes and comments. There are many examples, such as Lindsay Lohan, with family and health problems. Do not you think that many celebrities think they can get away with what they want because they are famous? But they are really being criticized more because people are watching every one of their movements. Celebrities think that people will accompany them in anything, no matter how crazy they are because they are the people to follow like Paris Hilton because she thinks she is all that.

Children see celebrities on the news every day and imitate what they do, thinking that they should be like them. But that is wrong. Most celebrities do not know what they are doing in their lives because they find it difficult to tell reality from fantasy. They are like you and me, but people think they are more than that. In general, celebrities should not be role models. The role models should be people that the children know and love as their close relatives or relatives such as grandma and grandpa.

In my opinion celebrities are not a good model for the public now, because some celebrities just for having all of them are the best person in the world and superior to others. They have bad values and also these have a very easy life with all the money they can have but there are some celebrities that are the opposite that I said.

Should humans eat to live or live to eat ?

Resultado de imagen para porque es importante comer

Eating is a social activity that is intimately linked with the need to feed . We have to eat and we like to do it , it makes us feel good . The only species that cooks is human. Cooking is more than necessity , it is a symbol of our humanity that differentiates us from the rest of the beings in nature .

Our body produces a chemical called CCK that has different functions , helps our digestion , decrease appetite ans stimulates the sensation of pleasure is related to the nutritional process and collaborates in the metabolic functions .
The human being is biosychosocial . the centres of hunger and atiety are located inte hypothalamus , where the centers of wakefulness and sleep are also found by the psychologist Hugo Mastrodomenico.

In my opinion eat to live for me tell me more than this . eat for live not means that you eat and do activities during the day , for me this phrase means is EAT to DO THINGS THAT HELP YOU LIVE AND YOU CAN PROGRESS HOW A PERSON AND BE MORE RESPONSABLE .

Video Cameras should be put into all Classrooms to record students interactions at all times

Video cameras will be very important for the classrooms, but this has positive and negative consequences.
The cameras in the classrooms help to observe students and teachers
Yes, because if the teacher forgets what he did yesterday, he can remember what happens because of the camera. Also, if someone tells the bleach or if someone comes to the room to do something wrong, the camera can catch them. It is not like a stalker, but it is protection for each other. For example, if there is a fight in the classroom, you can see who fought and who initiated it.

This helps the student to be more responsible, because with the cameras inside he will behave well and have a good personality to educate him.

This also brings negative things for them:
They make the students feel uncomfortable, because with the cameras all day you just have to behave and it will be difficult to learn in class with so much pressure.
They have a great cost, the cameras cost a lot of money because if you put in a class you must put everything and spend a lot of money that you can spend on other things for more education.
Even if it was okay with the parents, it is not right to have cameras in the classrooms of the school. I will support my affirmation starting with privacy, knowing that there is a camera, people will be nervous and will not be able to concentrate. . Once again, the side is not right.

In my opinion the cameras in classroom are bad because make feel unconfortable students and can`t learn much better , they needs to be free and confident with the teacher .

it is important to connect to the public because they pay more attention and you feel confident of what you explain. One way they pay attention is:
Image: yes Text: no.

It is easier for people to see images than to read texts. For this reason, the catalogs are made of shocking photos and short, concise texts. Remember that this format does not work in presentations. Here you should use two thirds of the slides only with photos and graphics and stars.

These movements are produced by the collisions of tectonic plates . The collision releases energy as the crust materials are reorganized to regain mechanical equilibrium.

One of the main causes of earthquakes is the deformation of the rocks continues an active fault, which release their accumulated potential energy and produce great tremors. Do videogames cause bad behavior in children ?

The large amount of time that young people spend playing video games and computers has caused some moral panic in some sectors, including fears that it could increase antisocial behavior and emotional problems among children in particular. Others see the benefits of electronic play in strengthening spatial reasoning, critical thinking and even morality.
An interesting new study by Andrew Przybylski and Allison Mishkin of the Oxford Internet Institute at Oxford University relies on school teachers instead of children or parents to evaluate behavior. Find a link between the amount of time spent playing games and social and academic performance. Those who play more than three hours a day are more likely to be hyperactive, aggressive and disinterested in their school work than children who are less involved in games. But some electronic games seem to be beneficial: teachers gave lower scores to non-players than to those who played for an hour or two a day.

The study, published in the journal Psychology of Popular Media Culture, involved 25 teachers and 217 students aged 12 or 13 at a school in the south-east of England. The teacher who had more personal contact with each student evaluated his academic performance, utility, aggressiveness and aggressiveness. These assessments were compared to the students' responses to questions about the type of games they played and for how long.

Although parents should pay attention to the amount of time their children play computer games - and try to avoid this three-hour surplus a day - the results are reassuring, according to Przybylski, and do not support the most alarming claims about the effect of games on adolescents

If it were easy to stay fit and healthy

If it were easy to stay fit and healthy, there would be less disease in the world and people would live much longer. Unfortunately, it gets more difficult as one gets older and it may require serious lifestyle changes. However, this does not mean that it can’t be done. If anything, there are probably several things you could be doing differently and there’s no reason you can’t give it a shot.
Here are some things you can do to get back on track:
 Exercise Regularly

Consistency is the key. It doesn’t matter what type of exercise you do, as long as you enjoy it enough to do it regularly. Some people enjoy running, while others would rather walk or ride a bike. Other options include swimming, yoga, skipping rope  . If it gets your body moving and raises your heart rate, you’ll get some benefit from it. Try to get at least one hour of exercise each day.
Exercising is good but not too much because your body needs to rest and lots of exercise causes your body to get tired. Another way to be healthy is not to eat fast food. Fast food is a style of food where food is prepared and used to consume quickly in specialized establishments, these foods contain a lot of fat and makes the person have more weight. Eating fast food is not bad eating once a month but consuming it often if it hurts, so some people eat vegetables to stay in good shape.

Assertiveness and Direct Communication

One of the factors that sets human beings apart from the rest of Creation—that has, in fact, helped make us the dominant species on this planet—is our ability to communicate in great detail, with a minimum of confusion and unproductive "noise." That said, it's amazing how easy it is to fail to communicate properly. The annals of history are replete with episodes of poor communication (or a complete lack thereof) that led to widespread misery and pain. On a lesser scale, individuals and businesses have to deal with miscommunication issues every single day; and in the workplace, such issues can have a severe impact not just on individual productivity, but on the overall bottom line.

Even when the lines of communication are wide open, you can fail to communicate if you use the wrong words in the wrong way, or simply use too many words. Beating around the bush, couching your message in obscure terms, or burying it in a mass of unnecessary verbiage may cause mental static in the people you're trying to communicate with, resulting in confusion and irritation. At best, this will slow them down; at worst, they may ignore you altogether. Either outcome will damage productivity, both yours and theirs.

Therefore, whether you're communicating with employees or superiors, you have to make every effort to get your point across with a minimum of noise. It's crucial to choose your words with great care, so that you can say precisely what you mean as directly as you can without being curt or offensive.

Developing Responsible and Autonomous Learners

Teachers can focus on creating responsible and autonomous learners through the use of appropriate student choices. Providing opportunities to choose topics of interest stimulates students’ natural curiosity and eagerness to learn. However, providing choices is most effective in contexts where students are individually supported by others in caring and challenging learning communities. In these cultures and climates for learning, students are more likely to develop diverse competencies needed to be successful lifelong learners. Stimulating curiosity is fostered when students are encouraged to work collaboratively with their teachers and peers in finding answers to their questions in inquiry-based learning environments.
An increasing number of teachers have observed that after second or third grade, many students begin to show signs of decreased motivation to learn. What happened to that natural eagerness to go to school or the curiosity to learn that is so apparent in preschool, first and second grade students? Many teachers fear that presenting more choices to students will lead to losing control over the classroom. However, research shows that in fact the opposite happens. When students understand their role as agent  over their own feeling, thinking and learning behaviors, they are more likely to take responsibility for their learning. To be autonomous learners, however, students need to have some actual choice and control.

The peace in the classroom

Peace was naturally the major topic for discussion at the different Festivals. A very good starting point is to ask children to describe various situations in which they feel at peace. Many of the children at the Festivals came from war torn areas of the world or areas of trouble or unrest and so there was much discussion of war and how to stop it. Although the Cold War is over, many nuclear weapons remain in the world. A number of countries are still developing independent nuclear weapons and there is always the possibility that are still developing independent nuclear weapons
and there is always the possibility that terrorist groups will obtain the ingredients to make a nuclear bomb and use it to threaten other countries. Nuclear testing was also discussed by many of the children, especially those who live in the Pacific region. Children from as far away as Africa and Central America also showed concern.

At school, children may come into contact with those who are different from them, perhaps from other cultures, perhaps disabled. They need to understand that, in spite of differences, we all have common needs and aspirations. We are all part of one huge global family. We are all important and we should help one another. Tolerance may also mean not being upset when criticised by a teacher, or when working in a group. As an adult tolerance may mean seeing others' points of view.
Young people should be tolerant of other opinions and views. In games they need to realise that cheating or violent, selfish behaviour will not help to make them better members of a team or of society but by being tolerant they will learn to accept losing as easily as
winning. They may question why there are wars and why so many people have to suffer. It needs to be pointed out that there is a great deal of poverty, hate and jealousy around. We should strive to eliminate such sources of conflict. It is important to be tolerant to our
neighbours, whether they be children sitting next to each other, next door neighbours or neighbouring
countries. We should respect the Earth and all the people that live on it.

The vision of education

This video teaches us that technology has improved a lot with respect to education. Children and adolescents study, inquire, chat on the internet, every time things are updated. Some children do not go to school, they study with a virtual teacher. In the schools are being used more iphads and computers to do their classes. This for me that helps well for the child's development and the abilities he has to manage these objects. In conclusion the new VISION OF EDUCATION IS TO TEACH AND MODERNIZE CHILDREN IN THE WAY OF LEARNING.

Beauty

This video means you do not have to worry about your physical shape that makes you special, The girl is insecure because she has nerves and fear that her boyfriend looks bad and makes fun of her body. She wants to take off all the fat and change her body so the boy wants her but she does not know what's important inside. Of how she is as a person and no matter what others say about you, if they make fun of you it does not affect you.  In conclusion you do not have to feel inferior to the others, that is your body and the important thing is what you say as you see and how you feel.

Debate in family

Sister: Cosmetic surgery is used to improve a person's physical appearance, it is also done to correct a physical problem. Aesthetic surgery or also called cosmetic surgery is a field that offers a wide spectrum of possibilities. Cosmetic surgery was first used after the first world war. The most popular cosmetic surgery procedures are liposuction, during which fat is suctioned through a tube and a suction equipment.

Mom: Aesthetic surgery can take care of improving physical appearance in less traumatic situations like reducing or eliminating wrinkles, increasing the size of the breasts or also modeling the nose. Cosmetic surgery, like any surgery, has its risks and the people who are thinking about doing one should understand that the results are not exactly with one you want them, besides the recovery is like in any other surgery, there is pain and there is the possibility of infection. It should also be remembered that a cosmetic surgery is optional and potential patients must correctly choose the plastic surgeon who will perform the surgical procedure.

Social media

The social media  are constantly evolving instruments.
The positive characteristics of the media are that they allow broad information contents to reach the planet's immediate surroundings, such as news, technological advances, scientific discoveries, etc. This way more people have access to this type of information quickly. The media, likewise, make it possible for many personal relationships to stay together or, at least, not to disappear completely as they facilitate real-time communication.
Negative characteristics are involved in the manipulation of information and the use of information for the interests of a specific group. In many cases, it tends to form stereotypes, followed by many people thanks to the reach of the message in its diffusion (as happens to generalize individuals or groups). Another negative aspect of the mass media is that censorship is not absolute, therefore minors may have access to explicit content such as television or the internet. Also these means of communication make the person more addictive and problems to controlce.

cadena de favores

This video reflects one of the most important human values that is solidarity. Through the example of being in solidarity with other people and so it is sensitized to others, whether children, youth or adults to continue collaborating and helping another person to finish a task in particular, is a feeling that feels and wants to Help others without intending to receive something in return.
